Jan 2nd 2006 3:04AM To add insult to the injury he doesn't even get your name right - "Following huge money makers like Jason calcanis and other millionairs up todate so you dont have to!" The key problem is publishing full content feeds of your blogs. It allows sploggers to easily re-publish content. Wish you best of luck on this issue. Let us know how it goes.

Dec 28th 2005 3:09PM I was reading this interesting discussion. Frankly I very much enjoyed the movie. He had a nice idea and executed it well. Being able to use one's talent is what is likely to win in a creative contest.
Imagine someone is a dancer. So he can cook up a dance sequence to convince eng... to part with their gift.
The definition of creative is not necessarily doing something outside your comfort zone. In fact most creative ideas come in related fields, near to comfort zone.

Dec 7th 2005 1:22AM I am trying to understand the craze behind making stats public. What purpose does it serve other than primitive chest-thumping in the lines of - my blog is better than yours? Kepping dead blog on the web makes sense if the site provides true resources like original technical articles, tips etc. Otherwise if it is only news with a spin then it just serves to increase the junk on the internet.

Creative-Weblogging: What a bunch of thieves (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)
Nov 15th 2005 12:22AM I chanced upon their site first before I read this post. And my first impression was that it was a Weblogs Inc. site. The look appeared so deceptively similar that I actually came to this site to verify that it is indeed not your group of sites :) The overall layout is not so similar but the three blog blogs are pretty much the most distinctive (and ugly ;) ) part of both sites. > Whoever these loser investors are they should do some due diligence. Having said that I think you should slightly tone down your invectives and all. You are making too many enemies IMHO.

The day entrepreneurship died (or What the Grokster case means: top entrepreneurs to flee the US) (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)
Jun 29th 2005 12:48AM I have actually started my company in India. There are less issues I have to deal with and the costs are low. So far I am happy. @Nate You don't have to be an innovator to be an entepreneur. And entepreneurs bring in the cash-flow which runs the economy and brings prosperity to a country (or maintains it as in USA). The implications of Grokster case is even more far fetched. It clamps down heavily on any kind of free service providers. Hotmail, GMail are also targets as is Blogger, Geocities and tons of others. Free service can always be used to host illegal content. It is absurd to assume that they can keep track of all activities in the system. And not just free service. How about EBay?
Another day, another person stealing our content (or "the Eliot Ness solution") (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)
Jun 28th 2005 3:51AM I got tired of this feed-stealers. So I made a WordPress plugin to automcatically add copyright messages to feeds. I think having a copyright message is a first level deterrent. What if he removes the copyright message? I think that should help in the future if the victim decides to pursue legal action because the excuse of using a automated process will not apply. The perpetrator has actively removed the copyright message from a copyrighted content and displayed it on his site. IANAL
