Dec 20th 2010 4:21PM How does this compare to Faronics Deep Freeze, or Comodo Time Machine (free)?
Sep 19th 2010 4:38PM I definitely understand the 5am thing. If my wife and I weren't constantly on our 6yr old about that exact thing about 50 times a day, I probably wouldn't have thought a thing about it.Admittedly, I am a stickler for details though. :)
Sep 19th 2010 9:54AM Larger "amounts" of tabs? Don't you mean numbers? They aren't liquid, you can count 'em. ;-)
Sep 17th 2010 9:39AM I'd have to agree, and not only that, but I setup a torrent there for UT2004's dedicated server about an hour or so ago, and after waiting the half hour for it to do it's thing, I set it up to download the torrent and have yet to download a single byte.By contrast, last night I used GetRight and found multiple sources for the same UT2004 file and had it coming down at nearly 3MB (yes bytes) per second.

Dec 19th 2009 8:27PM Macrium Reflect has a free version. Also, I run MissingBytes.net, so obviously I support free software. :-)
Dec 18th 2009 7:02PM Why switch from Macrium to an unproven solution though? I'm a Macrium user, who switched from DriveImage XML because it doesn't support MBR restores, and you have to build your own restore disk. What's the advantage this has over Macrium?
Sep 10th 2009 2:00PM Update your iPhone within Linux then.I like Linux for specific uses, but as a desktop OS for most people, it just isn't there yet. Requiring a command line for *anything* places it in that category. While a command line may be faster for some things, it shouldn't be a requirement. Nor should recompiling a kernel just to get sound working with a major brand sound card, or being hosed at run level 3 for changing a video setting, etc. The list goes on.As long as devs double as designers (and I'm also a dev by trade), it'll stay where it's at.
Apr 9th 2009 2:30PM I zipped my Trillian folder (in program files) before the install, and I'm glad I did. I use SimpLite for encrypting my conversations, and it doesn't appear to work w/Astra. I was able to roll back though (via the .zip file) and all seems to be working well again.
