Opinion: Has Honda lost its footing? (Autoblog)

Jan 20th 2011 3:21PM Honda has lost its founding spirit, and the people running that place has lost their collective minds if they don't think they have an issue.

Next Acura NSX built on flip-flopped Honda Accord chassis? (Autoblog)

Nov 22nd 2010 11:37PM @sportsbike80:
uhm...yea...you got owned, not just by Sue, but by your own arrogant ignorance. When you are wrong, it'd help if you don't start by insulting others.
Honda's platform flexibility has been well known by most people who know a thing or two about automotive industry. Their platform flexibility was first featured in mainstream media in a Business Week cover article back in '97.

Kia reports record third-quarter profit (Autoblog)

with most Asian companies, the largest shareholder (even if it's not majority) HAS the controlling stake.

Report: 2011 Audi R8 GT priced from $198,000 (Autoblog)

Oct 10th 2010 7:30PM Can anyone explain to me why the R-tronic instead of the S-tronic/DSG transmission? I am a manual guy, but driving the DSGs in various Audis was revelatory and quite satisfying. Based on everything I've read, S-tronic in R8 has been a disappointment.

BMW the latest automaker to showcase Bang & Olufsen sound system (Autoblog)

Sep 22nd 2010 11:50AM agree with you w.r.t. B&O's rep is so much more on stylish design over actual sound quality. But just like Bose's automotive work, hopefully they at least put some heavy duty acoustics engineering into it. B&O (and Bose) will still be way overpriced...they'll never be able to avoid that rep.

Ford's Mulally: "We cannot make a business case" for composites (Autoblog)

Sep 19th 2010 3:10PM I'll know how to copy and paste if I want to share....seriously! Bar be gone!

Some say that Top Gear will viciously kill off The Stig (Autoblog)

Sep 3rd 2010 5:05PM well...don't be so quick to judge. None of us knows exactly how the Stig has been treated, do we? We know Stig's driving credibility and his technical contributions (e.g. Koenegsigfixmyspelling's wing fix), but maybe he's underpaid? We don't know now, do we? I mean, the front trio certainly get all the glories, along with all the perks and sideshows that come with such high profile exposure. Stig can't benefit from that.

Review: 2011 Toyota Sienna Limited (Autoblog)

Aug 27th 2010 4:36PM @user10983408:
I just came back on a one-way cruise with extended family: 5 adults, 3 kids, + their baggage. Driving to departing port, Avis gave me a Sienna. Everything fit into the Sienna, although the kids in 3rd row had to sit with the seat-back upright.
The other end of cruise, Avis gave me a Suburban. Believe it or not, lift gate would not close with our baggage in there - same amount of stuff. Had to move things around to the 2nd row leg space, and tie the liftgate down.
Nothing beats a full-size minivan flexibility.

Review: 2011 Toyota Sienna Limited (Autoblog)

Aug 27th 2010 1:02PM The Sienna stick still works better than the totally ridiculous 'P' button + RDNB joystick on the Prius. The 'P' button is placed 1/2 inch below the HVAC 'Auto' button....During the first few weeks, I don't know how many times I hit/almost hit the P button when I meant to hit the Auto button to turn on the A/C in my company issued Prius.
When you are going fast, at least it will kick into neutral. However, if you are just rolling out of your driveway at less than 4 or 5 mph, it will jerk the transmission into Park.
