Second build of Mac OS X 10.6.2 seeded to Apple developers (TUAW.com)
Oct 11th 2009 5:00PM I like the right click->Email idea. It could be implemented as a service. Though, I don't really have much problem with dragging a file to the email icon in the dock; it's pretty intuitive.
Re: Uninstaller: As long as apps follow Apple guidelines in where they place their files, I think the "delete from Applications" is the simplest, easiest method there could possibly be. Though, a dialog asking if you would like to clean up pref files during the delete of the app would be nice.
Re: Facebook/Twitter integration: available through iPhoto plugins.

I love this site: http://alternativeto.net/desktop/adobe-photoshop/
It just works. Usually. (TUAW.com)
Sep 16th 2009 5:59PM Wow! Luckily, I don't have any problems that require rebooting, just occasional Safari crashes... still annoying. Unless, you count the restart that is required for my Mobile account to sync again. Mobile Accounts are broken on Snow Leopard client w/ Leopard Server. Maybe it works if I upgrade to Snow Leopard server, which I will sooner or later but I shouldn't be required to. Anyway, Mobile Accounts can only sync on initial login after startup. Then, it loses connection or its certificate or something with the Server's AFP User share and requires restart. I'm glad I only tested with one client. Though, the quicker responsiveness is very nice.

Sep 15th 2009 7:48PM So, is this basically like 280 North's Atlas?... aside from the Cappuccino part of course.
The few ants at my Snow Leopard picnic (TUAW.com)
Sep 7th 2009 8:21PM I have several Mac clients that sync their Mobile Accounts through OS X 10.5 Server. When I upgraded the clients, they had intermittent issues with connecting to their respective Users share on the server via AFP. Eventually, unbinding & rebinding to the AD Server backend fixed the problem. BTW, Directory App doesn't exist anymore. All the bind settings are now found within Preferences -> User Accounts
AT&T tries to repair the PR damage (TUAW.com)
Sep 4th 2009 2:58PM "We've been working for months to upgrade our networks to get ready for MMS..."
You've had 2 years!!! If you had chosen to pre-emptively build out your network, with all the new money coming in, to give yourself a competitive advantage when the exclusivity ends, instead of being a reactionary company that chose to pocket the moneys and only perform upgrades at the last minute you would have great PR, a great network, and happy customers.
AT&T demonstrated the kind of poor strategic management that has been plaguing American companies recently regarding the iPhone exclusivity agreement.

Sep 4th 2009 2:14AM I do hate how auto-tune is overused in rap/R&B music lately, but as a fun, silly iPhone app... bought! Yeah-a-Yeah-Yeah... Shawwtayayy lol
Snow Leopard: In EULA we trust (TUAW.com)
Sep 3rd 2009 8:59PM I bought the Family Pack not only to "do the right thing", but also because I appreciate the fact that Apple shows trust in the honor system and its customers. Otherwise, we'd have to deal with crappy DRM that bring potential false positives and having to authorize every little change. My purchasing of the Family Pack is a vote for not spending money on DRM and putting faith that the majority of people are honorable. There always will be pirates, but usually DRM causes more problems for legit customers and lost investment on the part of the developer.
Snow Leopard: The new one gigabyte, now slimmer than before (TUAW.com)
Aug 30th 2009 2:16AM "First of all, understand that you never "lose" anything. Just because the OS manufacturers and the hard drive manufacturers are using different definitions of prefixes does not mean that the ability to store bytes evaporates into thin air." - SomeJoe7777
"It's a matter of Windows showing GB when they really mean GiB and the public misunderstanding the difference." - nvalhalla

Snow Leopard: The new one gigabyte, now slimmer than before (TUAW.com)
Aug 30th 2009 2:09AM @harveylubin: I think you're analogy is backwards. Prior to Snow Leopard, capacities were reported in base-2 by all Operating Systems. So, when you installed a 500 GB drive it would show up as only 465 GB (Less). Now, all interfaces use the same scale to report the same size: 500GB.
So, I would have felt ripped off, as in your analogy, PRIOR to the change.
