May 15th 2009 2:15AM Wow. I just uploaded a pptx to presentio, it is amazing! And simple to use. No login required. The in-line viewers are very very useful. Way way better than Google Doc's "View Together" mode in presentations. "View Together" essentially offers the same basic functionality as presentio, but lacks the support for media (audio/video) files and does not feature "free teleconferencing". Also, to use the "View Together" in Google Docs, the attendees need to sign-up for a Google Account.

However, I would be more comfortable with storing confidential data in Google Apps than in presentio. For e.g. I would never upload a presentation containing Intellectual Property to presentio :)

Anyone wanna guess how long before Google Doc catches up with presentio?

May 10th 2007 5:03PM It would interesting to find out how the 7K200 Tavelstar authenticates the user before decrypting the data.

Are they using ATA Drive Lock feature in bios or a proprietary client software to unlock the drive?

Jun 10th 2006 11:04PM One interesting thing about the FDE drives is their capability of instant data deletion. All it requires is the change of the AES key, and the data can not be deciphered.
