I assume you mean x86_64 and x86_32 (to use the vendor-neutral terms); actually, it's a little-known fact that NT was originally intended to be portable across many different architectures, but at some point they decided it would be too much effort. I personally think they should supporting alternative architectures, mainly because it would allow them to cut into Linux's marketshare with ARM/MIPS/BBQ-based devices, and possibly encourage better programming among developers (most Windows programmers have probably never seen the word 'portable' in their lives ;). Also, that should have been a semicolon after 'architechture' (which was misspelled btw), not a comma.
