Google Chrome hits 1.0 (Download Squad)

Dec 11th 2008 3:55PM Chrome has been my primary browser for a while now, because

1) It's speedy
2) When I close a tab, I get that memory back. Imagine that!

But going 1.0 without supporting plugins is pretty lame.

The Amazing Race: You're Gonna Get Me Killed (AOL TV)

Dec 2nd 2008 2:27AM Did they change the rules? I thought in the past there was a 30 minute penalty for not following a clue completely. I don't think I've ever seen a team be refused the next clue. Options, sweep type. Looks animated to me.

The Exhibitionist: Odds and Ends (Cinematical)

Apr 28th 2008 12:45AM "It seems like the ambient light in cinemas would need to fluctuate depending on the brightness of the image on screen"

It would completely need to fluctuate. I go to the drive-in a lot, except for movies that I think will be predominantly dark because they're almost impossible to see. I first realized the phenomena during Predator 2, although it probably helped that movie quite a bit. :)
