The Virginia Tech Massacre Through Hokie Eyes (Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog)

Apr 17th 2007 12:55PM Between yesterday and now (at the time of writing this) the emotions have gone from emptiness, disbelief, sadness, and today culminating in anger.

Anger at the way the whole incident has been managed or rather, mismanaged by the authorities.

All said, lives have been lost and we as the one's left behind can only pray for lost lives and their kith and kin.

Mozilla hires firm for Firefox 2.0 usability facelift (Download Squad)

Sep 2nd 2006 4:39PM The progression of Firefox has collected innumerable extensions, now called addons, that enhanced an already good browser.

Microsoft still maintains a majority share of the market due to the 'traditional' users believing that Firefox is for the 'Geeks' out there and not for 'Mr Grey Norm' and his IE.

The indispensible value of some of the addons had a lot of Firefox users expecting the functions of the addons to be standard issue in future Firefox versions. Mozilla has paid attention to this. Eg: 'live' spell check as you type (spellchecker), the exit [X] box for each tab (tab mix plus)etc. The few niggling addon compatibility issues will soon be knocked out and full fledged FF2 anxiously awaited!

Sony Vaio UX50 on pre-order (Engadget)

Jun 7th 2006 2:40PM Cool dashing looks. Nice finish (it seems). Nice piece of eq. But one thing that strikes me ...the screen is open..exposed to being easily damaged. Especially for the travelling folks, and security procedures which means taking the lappie out, putting it back, the security staff [man]handling it etc. For $1800? NaaaaaaaaaHH.
Good to look at though!.
