Dev Chair : My love-hate relationship with Apple development (Download Squad)
Feb 13th 2007 8:26PM @ Alex:
I'm not sure what you meant to say in this article/blog post. Can you please explain.
Thanks.

Oct 11th 2006 12:39PM Pardon my typos in #10.
I just wanted to add that MEMRI, to me, seems like a group is trying to provoke a reaction by the Muslims. They mention an "islamist site" but not link to it. So how do we know it's for real and just an attempt to incite a reaction from Muslims? Furthermore, I think anything coming out of a group that is based in *Washington, DC* that claims to "explores the Middle East through the region's media" should be taken with grain of salt -- they are not most objective of people.

Oct 11th 2006 12:28PM As a Muslim, I think those that are finding the Apple store and "insult to Islam" needs to lighten up a bit and focus on things that are more important.
This is just stupid, childish and petty. The people complaining about this do not represent the majority of the Muslims; but the media certainly likes to splash this around like it's the majority 1.5 billion Muslims opinion.
FairPlay for sale, and not by Apple (TUAW.com)
Oct 2nd 2006 3:02PM Not really Michael (#15). Apple can update the the iPod/iTunes and when the user applies the update and restarts iTunes they will update the DRM on all purchased items in the user's Library.
I believe this is their standard practice. All your purchased items should be updated to use the latest version of the DRM auto-magically; but don't quote me on this.
125,000 movies sold in iTunes Store first week (TUAW.com)
Sep 19th 2006 4:34PM I bought two movies, The Lady Killers and Gun Shy, from iTunes Store. I can't wait for other studios to put up their movies on iTunes Store.

eMusic hits No. 2 in digital music sales, thanks iPod (TUAW.com)
Aug 1st 2006 10:03AM I have personally never bought anything from eMusic; but I think their 2nd place in the market after Apple, speaks volumes to the also ran, that iPod support is crucial for your online music store. If eMusic was to offer non-DRM WMA I highly doubt they would be in the 2nd place.
Rob Griffiths tells you what Mac to buy (TUAW.com)
Jul 28th 2006 11:03AM @ 4: I bought the 20" iMac Core Duo soon after it was announced and then I just bought a MacBook. Both Mac so far have performed without any problems or hiccups what-so-ever. Granted YMMV; but I think problems with Apple's products in general are sometimes blown out of proportion, so it seems like there is a grave problem with the quality of Apple's products.
I know the problem with the iBook logic board was really carelessness on Apple's part; but I'm looking more in the general direction of "iPod screens being scratched" and the "Yellow stains on the MacBooks".
