Aug 4th 2010 5:18AM Can anyone kindly confirm if the tax applied on iPhone purchase from Apple Canada online store is only 5%?
Dec 11th 2009 12:52PM Not really. Chrome has introduced incognito mode exactly for that.
Dec 3rd 2009 12:32AM For Firefox users, there's always keyconfig, 'functions for keyconfig' and mouseless browsing/LoL add-ons. With keyconfig, one can set their own customizable hotkeys (even single keys) for common actions like going back and forth in history, closing and opening tabs, switch to next and previous tabs.
Dec 1st 2009 6:44AM I wonder if something similar exists for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
Nov 21st 2009 9:32PM Trout music player - http://skwire.dcmembers.com/wb/pages/software/trout.php is also decent. Light weight, has customizable global keyboard shortcuts and pretty fast.
Nov 20th 2009 6:38AM The last version I tried was not so useful.I installed it and connected to SkyDrive. I uploaded files from My Music folder into SkyDrive's drive. All fine till now. I then deleted the songs from My Music folder since they are in SkyDrive's drive on my computer. But when I launch any file in this drive, the file was being downloaded!! Why the heck should a file that's on my local computer be downloaded from the internet for viewing/playback?If this program is not usable and doesn't work like the excellent Dropbox, what's the point?
Nov 14th 2009 4:10AM I uninstalled SkyDrive Explorer and installed Gladinet. Gladinet works.
Nov 14th 2009 3:02AM I can't seem to create folders via SkyDrive Explorer. Is this a known limitation?
Oct 14th 2009 2:07PM @murph: What's wrong w/ Xmarks? It works nicely in the background storing the bookmarks and seamlessly syncs w/ bookmarks on other computers.
Oct 6th 2009 1:51PM "handy set of address completion hotkeys: ctrl + enter appends .com, ctrl + shift +enter adds .org, and shift + enter does .net."1. Not sure if anyone remembers and uses the key combinations other than ctrl+enter2. ctrl+enter .com address completion is taken as default in a web browser, isn't it? Mentioning it as a 'feature' sounds odd.
