Freehand dead, discount crossgrade to Lineform (TUAW.com)

May 22nd 2007 2:20PM Nope, Illustrator still can only have one page at a time (so as not to compete with InDesign I guess)

Chinese manufacturers prepared to switch from DVD to EVD in '08 (Engadget)

Dec 6th 2006 3:28PM "20 firms -- representing 97 percent of the DVD manufacturers in the country"

Star Trek The Next Generation: Where No One Has Gone Before (AOL TV)

Oct 27th 2006 8:57PM Ah, Wesley Crusher. The Franklin Richards of STTNG. Undefined super powers because no one really knows what they are. ;)

CoverFlow: I knew that looked familiar (TUAW.com)

Sep 13th 2006 10:20AM Coverflow was created by Catfish from the Arstechnica forums. I think he released that very last version before iTunes7 as a thank you to all the people who had been using his betas. He's been strangely silent at the Ars forums - presumably because he too busy rolling in dough.

He also has a wicked iTunes visualizer at his steelskies website.

MacLibre: Get your free Mac software here! (Download Squad)

Sep 11th 2006 4:38PM Pretty slim pickings...

The man behind the Apple logo (TUAW.com)

Apr 25th 2006 10:53AM Nowadays it's not that uncommon for a logo to be full color - although it still ill-advised.

Ars on Aperture (TUAW.com)

Dec 6th 2005 2:30PM If the only annoyance was the RAW exporting, Aperture still wouldn't be worth buying. It's really unfortunate how this app was released - what were they thinking?
