ROKR's price cut to $149.99, Apple sabotaging the market? (TUAW.com)

Nov 11th 2005 12:44PM Josh: Funny you ask, as I stated in the article I got it from MacSlash

Mark/Space announces Missing Sync 5.0 for Palm OS (TUAW.com)

Nov 2nd 2005 3:00PM Zach: Sorry to hear about the problem. Were your palm and Mac in sync before you did the upgrade? Mine were, and during the setup assistant I simply enabled the options to make my Mac overwrite everything on the palm. Came out of it without a conflict. I don't know if you can run the setup assistant again, (though I bet Mark/Space support has a way) but that could be an option.

Front Row = Apple's big foot in the Media Center door (TUAW.com)

Oct 28th 2005 3:52PM Chuck5566 it's funny you say that, cuz Apple offered machines with full-on video in/out about a decade ago. Needless to say, they were a tad ahead of their time. I'm not familiar with which model or exactly what year they were, but I've heard about them from other publications and we used to have a few lying around an older lab on campus.

Applescripts to bookmark NNW headlines in del.icio.us (TUAW.com)

Oct 28th 2005 2:51PM I prefer not to have to run an extra app all the time. I use cocoalicious if I have to do some serious organizing in del.icio.us, but being able to add a 'mark through my browser - an app I already have running 24/7 - keeps my cycles free for other tasks.

iPod nanos abound in Tokyo subway (TUAW.com)

Oct 27th 2005 10:00AM Jon: yea we have a lot of stuff going on the site. The "Send us news tips" link is near the bottom of the middle column, under the heading "Resources." Find the "Powered by Blogsmith" button and go up just a little bit. To make things easier though, I think virtually every blog under the Weblogs Inc umbrella has its tips form at /tips. So engadget.com/tips, tuaw.com/tips, design.weblogsinc.com/tips, etc. Hope this helps!

Reader video: Front Row on a Mac mini (TUAW.com)

Oct 24th 2005 9:42PM So uh Zeno.. have we at TUAW ever told you how much we appreciate your readership? :)

Who needs Front Row? I have Salling Clicker and a Palm (TUAW.com)

Oct 24th 2005 1:38PM Sure Jemaleddin, here's a Knowledge Library article at Palm's site with a good step-by-step: http://tinyurl.com/9dbze (this will redirect you to a Palm site, as the original link was long, ugly and it broke in our comment system.) One catch about their tutorial: they instruct you to go into the Palm's preferences, tap "Communication", then tap "Connection." In the TX, "Connection" is right in the Palm's main Preference section, there is no "Communication." Hope this helps.

First Impressions: Tunewear PRIE Ambassador case for iPod nano (TUAW.com)

Oct 23rd 2005 1:55PM Woops, totally forgot to blog the Tunefilm. They actually kind of hid it in the packaging; there's a small cardboard iPod look-alike inside the case when you first open it. The Tunefilm is IN that cardboard thingy. With most other products that's just throw-away filler, so watch out. The Tunefilm is interesting. It doesn't really have a sticky adhesive, but each of the three pieces (the screen, the click wheel and the back) all stay on pretty well, even sliding it in and out of this case. So I guess the Tunefilm is pretty slick too, though it's a little less clear than the plastic IN the actual PRIE Ambassador case.

First Impressions: Tunewear PRIE Ambassador case for iPod nano (TUAW.com)

Oct 22nd 2005 7:56PM You can't buy it from Tunewear's site, but they have a list of distributors across the world. Here's an english list: http://www.tunewear.com/english/buy/ I myself am in the US, so I bought it from Dr. Bott, and here's a link to a search for "prie ambassador" at their site: http://www.drbott.com/prod/db.lasso?QuickSearch=prie+ambassador

On media and drive incompatibility (TUAW.com)

Oct 22nd 2005 11:50AM I still see slower media around, it just isn't at the front of the shelf anymore as they're pushing the new, more expensive media and drives on everyone all the time. I just bought some 4x DVD's from Office Depot as they were on sale, and the 2x were sitting right next to them.
