Upgrading your wedding ring? "I do" or "I don't" (Licensed to Shop)
Jul 5th 2008 3:49PM "Don't be afraid of hurting your hubby?" What crap! Do you have a backchannel partnership with a divorce attorney?

Jul 5th 2008 3:46PM "Don't worry about hurting your hubby?" The brainless twits who take your advice deserve the anger that comes back You have opened a whole new brand -- "Merchants of Divorce."

Jul 5th 2008 3:28PM Of course, DEBEERS loves people who "upgrade" -- their advertising to "get her another ring" as a symbol of your love is offensive, even disgusting. The children are not "symbols"? The house is not a "symbol"? No, the Dutch/ South African merchants of expensive trinkets think we ar a bunch of mindless twits -- are they right?

Jul 5th 2008 3:22PM Hey, if you want bigger and pricier jewelry, why not -- as long as you have a job and can pay for it. Spending out of control can create anger on the part of the person who has to pay for the other person's wishes, and can really kill love.
I know many will disagree, but I know this from clinical observations over a long time. If you have the money, fine, but consider your husband's feelings and don't pressure him if he is reluctant.
Windows XP SP3 is fast, Vista SP1 not so much (Download Squad)
Dec 26th 2007 1:08PM If it ain't broke don't fix it. XP was fine and office 03 (BFD -- meant my office 97 disks were obsolete). Vista now forces me into Office 2007 (cynical MS), when 03 was doing fine. Now I ask for XP on my new machines and Best Buy tells me they can't do it because of architechture, etc. So I mail ordered another HP with XP because one of my projects requires me to interface using XP and the USG system does not allow Vista.
Add to that the BS screens I have to close when starting up VISTA. No, I don't need help with this feature, no I don't want that, I just want to go to Word or do some on-line trading. Sorry gang, but Vista is a viirtual curse that came with one of my new computers.
Bill Gates, I want my XP! I don't want to relearn menus, toolbars, or other OS features. XP was fine -- it's enough to make me say "Apple."
