Winamp for Android: Now in Beta (Winamp Blog)
Nov 2nd 2010 8:38PM Would be awesome if you guys had a setting for playback speed control. So I can listen to podcasts faster than normal playback. Otherwise AWESOME job so far on the beta.

SRS Labs' iWOW adaptor for iPods changes the way we think about portable audio (Engadget)
Dec 10th 2008 3:27PM I use the SRS software on my HP laptop. Laptops SUCK for speaker quality... there tool makes it sound better. I liked it so much, and hate APPLE SOO MUCH MORE, that I went with an Iriver clix (with SRS). IPod Audio quality is crappy... probably the crappiest out of all MP3 players... SRS adding a dongle... maybe when my Clix dies.. I'll have to find someone with (icrap) an ipod and a dongle... to see if it puts the iCrap on better audio crutches....

Dolby and SRS Labs bring surround sound to mobiles (Engadget)
Feb 11th 2008 6:10PM I'd be very curious to check out a few more products by SRS. I checked em out at CES, against Dolby. The Dolby headphone on a laptop just sounded cheesy in comparison. SRS's seemed, in my opinion, more rich, and just sounded more realistic. I own an SRS product (clix2), so I'll be anxious to see what both companies put out on the market, beacuse I need an upgrade from my crappy razr. I'll be checking out the new phones with both technologies, my bets on SRS over Dolby.
Dobly is the bigger name, due to its brand exposure. Dolby has been marketing a lot more than SRS should have been. Thats probably why everyone gets hyped up over the Dolby name. I smell a Mobil audio war (Beta vs VHS? BluRay vs HD? SRS vs Dolby?) We all know the best quality doesn't always win...
