Apr 12th 2007 10:09PM Cool video, but why was the OLPC Distro based off of Fedora and not Ubuntu? It seems like the Ubuntu philosophy was made for projects like OLPC, and in my experience Ubuntu Edgy itself has been more user-friendly than Fedora Core 6.

Feb 26th 2007 3:36PM In some ways, this seems like a good idea; it's an improvement over some other pay to download movie services. But, at the same time, it's just mind-bogglingly retarded.

Let's say I go to the bittorrent website. I could pay to torrent a movie and lose it in 30 days, or I could download the exact same movie for free, keep it forever, and get the same quick download speeds from Bittorrent 4.4 (faster than the bloated newer versions).

WHY THE FUCK WOULD I PAY? I understand that many people buy for ethical reasons, as I do if a movie or game is amazingly good, but the only difference here is pay or free. There is no other disadvantage to pirating besides ethics.

Jan 11th 2007 8:21PM As someone who actually played the first version of the Godfather game, this looks great. The PC version was a great game, but the only problem was the controls. Mouse movements were incredibly awkward and the camera sucked. But with the Wii, punching someone will be just that. And even if the controls are "tacked on" then great! Take a good game and make the controls easier and more realistic, you just made it a lot better.

Nov 16th 2006 12:03PM As a nintendo fanboy, I'd say Wii sports is without a doubt a gimmick. It comes with the console so they can say you get a free game, and because no one but a parent or extremely casual gamer would buy it.

That being said, the console is not a gimmick, and most of the games aren't (Mario, Zelda, Red Steel, etc.) These are games similar to regualer core games, but with better controls.

Finally, if you're too insecure to play Wii games with full motion, play with tiny flicks; it works just as well. But remember...http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2006/11/13

Nov 12th 2006 3:30PM You're retarded. Sit down, shut up, and stop crying about how you have to go through all the trouble of pressing a button to read a sign. It doesn't fucking matter. Maybe you'll hurt yourself doing something so demanding as pressing A, but normal people won't. Also, most people hated the cel-shading in windwaker, and the gameplay and story redeemed it. As for the brown, it's darker because that's what many ppl want in a more mature zelda. Please, just don't talk anymore.

Oct 23rd 2006 10:41PM Will Wright r0xx h4rdc0r3-styl3, but I agree that Miyamoto must be assumed at number 0. He made mario and zelda....mario and zelda!!!! And no real gamer wants to admit it, but pokemon was a really well-made series, and sold like crazy.

Sep 26th 2006 8:06PM Everyone is saying how the wii isn't worth the money with the cost of controllers, but they're comparing that price to the PS3 and 360 CONSOLES, and not adding the controllers for those systems!
The wii is cheaper as long as it's even. Of course a wii and four controllers costs more than a PS3, because the PS3 comes with 1 controller and no game!!!
