Dec 26th 2007 3:55AM Sounds like a sweet deal. Too bad only the "Good" west would be able to enjoy the fruits with their highspeed DSL/Broadband deals. As for the "Bad" and the "Ugly", for the time being we are mere spectators in an expanding world of information technology.

Take and share notes with Springnote (Download Squad)

Dec 24th 2007 1:42PM Springnote looks sleek and promising, but has quite a confusing interface. I'd like to see how they do in today's cluttered world of Web 2.0 schedulers.

Dec 24th 2007 9:33AM Ahhh...at least some of the folks are having positive results.

The world ends on January 19, 2038: thanks Unix! (Download Squad)

Dec 23rd 2007 2:50PM Damn those unix hackers. Now only if we had Justin Long and "Warlock" with us.

Dec 23rd 2007 11:11AM Hmm...strange. I swear on the grave of Bender B. Rodriguez that it worked everytime I've tried with my Nokia 6630.

Infact I just put up a request for a video on Nikon D40, and the queuing time seems to be decreasing as it should after each reload.

Maybe, ByWifi is just having a bad day, give it some time to straighten up ;)

ImgBurn: Free CD/DVD image burning for Windows (Download Squad)

Dec 22nd 2007 5:16AM I've used ImgBurn before. Although I do find the lack of several features a bit disappointing, still ImgBurn served my basic purpose...that of burning disk-images without encountering any errors :P Its a nifty app, definitely worth trying out.

Roll your own Dj turntable on your pc with "Scratch" (Download Squad)

Dec 21st 2007 10:25PM Thanks for correcting me on my..err.. wrong use of "DJ" terminology, Mertz . I was just trying to be as expressive as I can about the software without using a DJ dictionary, but I guess I should pay a little more heed ;)
Scratch lets anyone including total newbies to load up a few sound-files and start scratching. It has rudimentary Disk control and a few tuning options here and there, thats about it.Try it out, it isn't high-tech, but it will serve someone's basic DJ needs well.
