May 20th 2010 10:13AM Absolutely! Those no-name teams Bernie encouraged to spend $$$$ to join F1 should in no way be allowed to actually compete.

BTW, Bernie, I think Alonso wouldn't have met that 107% rule in Monaco. Would he get to race anyway since he's a former WC and drives for Ferrari?

Want to make F1 more exciting? Get rid of Bernie. He is single-handedly responsible for all of F1's troubles right now.

Jan 21st 2010 8:20PM Seems to me that the real problem here is that GM doesn't know who's going to buy this car. This is obviously targeted at a sort of ironic, self-aware hipster who could bring what is, let's face it, a pretty boring car to some credibility among the yoots. As evidence, I ask you to take the costume of the women with the large frills. No one would choose to wear that or ask someone to wear that who wasn't trying to appeal to hipsters. That's a ridiculous blouse that would have been more appropriate, though marginally so, in the 80's, and yes, I was there.

Said irony-laden hipsters are, however, not particularly laden with money.

So, what does GM want? Cred or cash?
