Dec 2nd 2010 6:04PM Microsoft isn't doing well? That's news to me...

New MacBook Pro could arrive in April 2011 with SSD, Light Peak, no DVD (

Nov 29th 2010 12:10PM I have lived with my laptop for months without an optical drive. It's simply not that big of a deal. I bought a cheap (~$25) external drive for those rare occasions that I do need to burn a CD but even that is almost unnecessary these days.

AAPL could hit $410 according to R.W. Baird analyst (

Nov 6th 2010 10:45PM Considering I own Apple stock, I'm hoping he's right. I'm planning on buying some more once I get more money.

Apple grabs nearly 50 percent of handset industry profits (

Nov 2nd 2010 6:45PM I love how Apple fans will rave about profits like this, but will still turn around and deny the existence of the Apple tax

Three LimeWire alternatives for easy peer-to-peer downloading (Download Squad)

Nov 1st 2010 1:22PM Anyone who was still using Limewire when it was shutdown is no doubt far too ignorant to find an alternative. Also, I have a ton of trouble believing any of those people would be using this site.

Fierr adds a more helpful "server not found" page to Firefox (Download Squad)

Oct 12th 2010 12:22AM Anyone who knows enough about Firefox to find and install this already knows how to hit the back button/backspace, hit F5, and use the search bar so I don't really see the point of this.

Is Mozilla making a huge mistake by breaking add-ons so badly on Firefox 4? (Download Squad)

Aug 26th 2010 12:06AM I stopped reading when I read "bookmarks bar is gone". It's not gone. I don't know what you are doing using a beta if you don't know how to do something as simple as getting it to appear. I'll just let you figure it out by yourself.

Is Mozilla making a huge mistake by breaking add-ons so badly on Firefox 4? (Download Squad)

Aug 25th 2010 9:46PM "Chrome definitely has the upper hand on Firefox 4 right now in terms of "working extensions"."

Wrong. Firefox still has tons of extensions that work just fine with the current stable version (3.6 I believe). That is the version most people are using right now since people who don't know much about computers generally avoid betas. You can start complaining about the extension situation if this problem persists past the date of Fx 4 becoming stable. Additionally, people using the Firefox 4 beta aren't too worried about this at the moment since anyone using a beta should know how to force extensions to work.

Sharpie Liquid Pencil doesn't dry like a Sharpie (Engadget)

Considering the number of comments on this post already, I think there are people who are interested in reading this. I think the editors are even obligated to have this article considering they already had an article about the pens that was full of praise.

New Xbox 360 hacked to play 'backup' discs, public release underway? (video) (Engadget)

For one thing, there is less demand since it is expensive to burn Blurays. By the time you get a drive and buy the discs, you aren't saving all that much over just buying the game.
