Joyswag: Gears of War 2 Limited Edition + 120GB Zune + bag + hoodie + MORE (Joystiq)

Nov 8th 2008 1:31AM Gears of Wars 2: Buy This Awesome Sh** Now. (Yes, you standing here in GameStop! You're getting it with trade-ins anyway! This sh** is not even costing you money!)

Dynasty Warriors 6 goes gold, plus new screens (Joystiq Playstation)

Feb 13th 2008 2:07AM Those sh** graphics hurt my face.

If you were to show me these screens and say this is the new PS2 version I would have believed it. Oh, and why am I seeing the exact same characters as the last 5 games? Will it never end? I wish they'd sell this franchise to a company that could do it some justice, these games could be made really addictive if they tried.

Speaking of addicting, where is Diablo 3? Can I get an amen?

Joyswag: Win this $5K dollar gaming rig from Falcon Northwest (Joystiq)

Dec 3rd 2007 10:44PM If I won this I'd go out and buy Bioshock, Call of Duty 4, Crysis, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Supreme Commander, and Hellgate. I'd play them all in a row too. The reason? It would be my reward to myself for finishing my first novel... I'm getting close!

Nov 30th 2007 12:52AM I would choose to lose one leg, first of all because the prosthetics for legs these days allow a person to function still (we sadly don't have robotic arms yet that can do all the full tasks of a hand, but I saw someone on the news last month with two prosthetic legs beneath the knee who ran a marathon). Plus, I like having my hands, and chicks dig wheelchairs, and as long as you aren't paralyzed it's just like you have a chair all the time along with you to sit in when you get tired. Free chairs!

Nov 22nd 2007 10:41PM I am most grateful for my security alarm! The reason being, unlike in Goldeneye for the ol' N64 where the alarm in the facility was a minor inconvenience meaning you were forced to back yourself into a little room and massacre a hundred or so men before you the alarm would die out and everyone would calm down, burglars usually get scared by an alarm and book it. Though, in all fairness to them, they usually aren't carrying dual kalishnakovs. Usually.

Nov 20th 2007 11:38PM I am rocking a pentium D dell setup with a 6800... doesn't sound horrific in theory until you see all the memory errors from my burned out and error ridden 1gb. Don't get me wrong, for its time Dell gave me a great machine for the money... then core 2 duos and 7800's came out seemingly weeks later. I really like Falcon though!

Oct 22nd 2007 9:11PM Cocaine's a helluva drug. Someone was gonna say it a second time in this thread.

Taryn Rose Designs With Gemesis Diamonds (Luxist)

Sep 18th 2007 1:09AM That phrase "culutred diamonds"... I like it. It is a lot more consumer-friendly than "lab-created." Which, to be honest is one of the most poorly designed terms for a product in history. I am in the industry and I can tell you, it is always a hard sell to skeptical customers, but they never even flinch at "cultured pearls."

Sep 18th 2007 1:05AM I really appreciate how constantly in depth and on top of the ball you guys are. And when you do host contests you always go over the top. Way to go.

If I don't win, one of you deserve this set (*wink wink, it was just a computer error mister contest manager guy man!)!

Half-Life 2 console pack blushes orange (Joystiq)

Jan 12th 2007 10:21PM Well, my serious suggestions would be
Half-Life 2: Realizing Freedom
or
Half-Life 2: Living Episodes
