May 27th 2010 11:36PM The Everki Beacon is the best laptop backpack I have ever owned. It is thoughtfully laid out, is well-constructed, is elegantly designed, and can comfortably fit a ton of stuff. I did find that I had to examine the available units carefully, going through three of them until I found one without any defects -- I bought mine at a CompUSA store where they had a good dozen to choose from. What I call defects were minor, and I would not have noticed any unless I had others to compare to.I am not really into the looks of something utilitarian like a backpack, but I have to say that this one is one gorgeous-looking bag.

Dec 6th 2007 12:59PM Regarding your statement, "...once you start a transfer, you can't use your web browser to do anything else until the transfer is finished (or you cancel the transfer, whichever comes first)."This is true, but incomplete or misleading -- You can simply open another instance of you web browser and continue to browse the web during your upload, so it's not like you lose use of the internet, you simply lose the ability to browse away from adrive in one window.
