Jun 5th 2007 4:55AM The whole name and email thingy can be *really* useful. I found an iPod in the road outside the school gates, use senuti to get some tracks off it and played them -- I immediatly had the guy's email and could contact him and return it. If he hadn't have had iTMS tracks on it I wouldn't have been able to find out whose it was and would have probably just handed it to the Police, and it would have been much less likely he would have actually got it back.

Dec 11th 2006 2:52PM Its not that surprising TBH, I attended the Christmas Lectures for A-level students held by Microsoft Research in Cambridge (UK) last year and one of the presenters was using a (at the time) new Powerbook to give his Keynote Presentation. Addmitidly he did work in a User Research Group and was a pshycologist by trade but it was still quite amusing...

Cool Regent Street Apple Store animation (TUAW.com)

Mar 30th 2006 6:27AM I visited the Apple Store on Regent's Street onTuesday and I have to say that I was disappointed. As already mentioned the computers were full with people using msn or checking their email, the store and computers were dirty (especially keyboards) and they were setting up for a concert which meant intensly annoying and very loud sound checks over the sond system.

Granted this was just before they closed so that is probably the reason behind it but it didnt impress me and my dad's now even more unlikely to get a new mac :(

What would you change about the menu bar? (TUAW.com)

Dec 23rd 2005 5:51AM What'd be really great is if when you have a dual monitor setup you could stretch the menu bar over both screens like you can the startbar in XP. This really pisses me off because I always find that I'm only using the screen with the menubar on it.

Oct 26th 2005 6:34AM I don't think apple's using Rosa Parks for marketing now, think about it, If your going to the website then you already know about apple. When this picture was used as part of the ad campagn then yes, but not now. The Think Different Statement is just reminding us that she thought differently, and that that's what apple's trying to do as well.... Anyway, thats my 2c worth :)
