Mazda Shinari Concept debuts new face of the brand in style (Autoblog)

Aug 31st 2010 2:00PM I'm liking where this could go on a redesigned Mazda3; I'm not a fan of the current design, but I'll have a while to wait. Hopefully the ol' 2004 Mazda3 can still tie me over until a replacement design. :)

New York 2010: 2011 Kia Optima turns up the heat in the mid-size sedan segment (Autoblog)

Apr 2nd 2010 12:40PM As much as I like this car's design - I can't get over what KIA stands for when not referencing the car company. It'd be hard for me to see the steering wheel and not think "Killed In Action" when I see the logo. :(

Xbox 360 'Valhalla' motherboard leaked on Chinese forum? (Engadget)

Mar 17th 2010 5:34PM Microsoft: show us some HDMI 1.4a love in Valhalla!

Video: Another look at PS3 Slim and its removable HDD (Engadget)

Aug 21st 2009 9:34AM Hopefully someone runs some Kill-a-watt readings on the new Slim PS3... 34% reduction in power consumption is nice, but I want figures people...not percentages. Was going to buy an Elite, but with this new one, my interest is piqued. Too bad I can't run Linux on it anymore though.

Lenovo debuts "fit anywhere" Q700 home entertainment PC (Engadget)

Aug 13th 2009 9:47AM Makes me think there will several more versions of the Q700; Core 2 processors, DDR3 with better graphic options? Think I'll wait and see.

Xbox Live dashboard update preview invites begin rolling out (Engadget)

Jul 29th 2009 10:52PM Got the update for my 360; no crashing or issues yet.

GM files restructuring plan, includes eco-friendly cars, asks for up to $16.6 billion more money (Autoblog Green)

Feb 18th 2009 7:59AM I was OK with the first bailout - but for GM and Chrysler to come back to the well for assistance, I've about had enough. I know they provide a symbiotic economy among themselves, their suppliers, dealers and workers - and the mere thought of GM going belly-up would cause further economic havoc, but we need to look and see if something else can be done rather than more dough. I'd like my Daycare Bailout - still waiting for that. Corporate Greed, corruption and pork caused GM and Chrysler to faulter - blame the UAW too, if you so choose - if the US Gov't sends more money down the GM sinkhole, they better remove the execs and VPs that ran it into the ground. I don't want to see them eat taxpayer money and poo it out like pizza.

Knight Rider premiere pulls 4.9/10 Nielsen rating (Autoblog)

Sep 26th 2008 9:40AM D-E-A-D faster than you can say 700-billion dollar bailout. Ok...maybe not that fast, but soon enough it will be. Way to tarnish the memory of my favorite 80s show when I was a kid with this junk. Since when did Kitt have Cold Air Intakes on the hood in [name-your-battlemode here]. This isn't Fast 'N' Furious. Lordie...

Is Apple shooting in the dark to fix iPhone 3G issues? (Engadget)

Aug 19th 2008 9:17PM ..well, if my iPhone wasn't stuffed in a ziplock bag with some rice and my wife's stocking - drying mind you, maybe I could contribute. But alas, I can't blame v2.0.2 for the washing machine trip my iPhone took this past Saturday. :(

iPhone 3G from AT&T: unlimited data for $30 (Engadget Mobile)

Jun 10th 2008 10:00AM I was pumped to see the cheaper price, but my sails were deflated to see it's now $30/month for data. Plus, I see there might be no discounted service on the iPhone phone service plans; my wife and I have been enjoying a 23% discount in our current phone service plan (FamilyTalk Nation 500 Rollover & Unlimited Night/Weekend & Unlimited Mobile-To-Mobile Minutes - no data plan); hope I can still use this discount on the old plan, with the 3G iPhone, (knowing data plans are exempt from our discount)...but signs point to No?

In the era of rising gas prices, daycare (for 2) and just about every other household bill increasing in price, an extra $30.00 is hard to swallow... I'd rather pay the upfront cost.
