TWX tries to sell Braves, desperate to get out of slump (BloggingStocks)

May 4th 2006 10:39AM One must figure that the value of TWX can only go up. After all, losing the Braves makes it less of a conglomerate, able to focus on entertainment. Wait. Come to think of it, why are they selling the Braves (and Turner South, etc.)? Watching the Braves can be very entertaining until they reach the postseason, at which point, watching the Braves causes ulcers and heart palpitations.

Better yet, bring back World Championship Wrestling! After all, if Vince McMahon can make scads of money with WWE, and TNA can make money without really trying, then certainly Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff can recreate the dream!
