Feb 25th 2008 2:41PM true silverlight needs to die, but divx actually made for a better player than flash due to the high quality it could deliver without taking ages to load. If no one can be bothered to install more addons then what does that say for progress. Flash may be king but I'd rather have divx delivering video quicker and in higher quality.

Oct 18th 2007 6:07PM Good article. I hope more people step up and try linux, I had my first experience with linux not that long ago when one day windows xp refused to start up on my laptop. Having heard about linux live cds I wonder whether I could recover my data using a live cd. A bit of research and a downlaod later I was running knoppix on my laptop. One of the good things about the new ubuntu is they have included support for read/ write for FAT 32.
