Ask DLS: What's your favorite mobile app at the moment? (Download Squad)

Mar 24th 2011 3:32PM I couldn't live without DoggCatcher http://www.appbrain.com/app/doggcatcher-podcast-player/com.snoggdoggler.android.applications.doggcatcher.v1_0 -- not only does it download and play my audio and video podcasts, there's a variable speed option in the works (I'm one of beta testers), and it does it all without ever needing to connect it to a PC!

Linux Mint Elyssa: Ubuntu Hardy with a fresh aftertaste (Download Squad)

Jun 28th 2008 1:10PM I've ditched windows for ubuntu two weeks ago and then I've ditched ubuntu for gorgeous Elyssa just a couple days ago. Mint is what ubuntu should really be – linux for human beings (and not only geeks).

OpenSUSE 11.0 review, part 3 (Download Squad)

Jun 21st 2008 5:19AM I think you are not quite right here. If you look at lat 30 day's results at DistroWatch.com, OpenSUSE has more users now.

Reason?

I think it's because Hardy just has too many holes in it and then OpenSUSE 11 comes out, which seems to be very promising, so a lot of people check it out.

So in the end, if OpenSUSE 11 proves to be better than Hardy, by the time Intrepid is released, ubuntu might just be biting the dust :)

P.S. I am ubuntu user.

How many Google Reader users subscribe to our feed (or yours)? (Download Squad)

Oct 15th 2007 4:27PM Well, I have tried this and it finds several different feeds [different posts] for my blog, and then shows number of subscribers separately. Which added up still does not equal to what FeedBurner is telling me.
