Baja - Today's Time Waster (Download Squad)

Mar 10th 2006 6:36PM I'm sorry, I really didn't enjoy this game. The game play was repetetive through the levels, wasn't particularly challenging, and rather annoying. @2, agreed about the music!

Desktop Wallpaper Changer Power Toy - Today's Mod (Download Squad)

Jan 12th 2006 6:45PM For those looking for a non WGA download (I have a genuine version, it came with my laptop, but I oppose the idea on principle) here's a direct link to a mirror:

Jan 8th 2006 6:30PM Just an update: Google Pack is live (probably has been for a while now, but I just noticed). http://pack.google.com/

TaskbarPP - Reorder Programs on the Taskbar (Download Squad)

Dec 29th 2005 12:49PM I wish I could use this utility, but when I started it up it says:

The "Group similar taskbar buttons" option in the "Taskbar and Start Menu Property" dialog box is turned on. Taskbar++ couldn't sort taskbar buttons if this option is turned on.

To me, grouping the similar buttons was an important improvement in Windows XP, and it's more important than the ability to move around the buttons. If only this thing could move around groups too...

Get to Z - Today's Time Waster (Download Squad)

Dec 23rd 2005 1:43PM Wow, that was amusing! I got to Z too. I mapped out how it works in a graph and used it to guide me to the possibilities. It was very fun.

Page Saver - Today's Browser Tip (Download Squad)

Dec 23rd 2005 10:14AM For capturing websites I use a program that prints to a pdf file, such as CutePDF (freeware), but there are also open source alternatives.

MediaMonkey - Today's Free File (Download Squad)

Dec 6th 2005 7:50PM This thing is great, just one problem with it. It has plugins to connect to the iRiver H120,H320,H340, but no H10. According to the forums it's coming with the next version release, and I think that's very important. Other than that I am seriously considering making this my main music player.

CryptoExpert 2006 Lite - Today's Free File (Download Squad)

Nov 29th 2005 7:02PM Another option, which I use, is called AxCrypt. It's free and open source. http://axcrypt.sourceforge.net/

Smart Middle Click - Today's Browser Tip (Download Squad)

Nov 21st 2005 11:31PM Thank you Download Squad. This is something that has always bugged me, but I've lay down and accepted it. I get a stupid blank windows, I middle click to close it, look at what the link is leading to, then left click it to actually open what I want. What a pain in the ass!! Looks like this extension will save me the frustration.
