Apr 21st 2006 11:06PM Somehow, this is the first I've heard of Windows Desktop Search. Wow. The thing that always killed the alternatives for me was the lack of OS integration. When I find something, I want to be able to view it's properties, "send to" whatever program I want, drag it somewhere etc. This is it. I realize there's a pretty simple reason why I havent seen this level of integration from google & co but the bottom line is the same. This does what I need it to - thus, the very reason people keep using MS over the alternatives.
