After the IX was stopped in 2007 it set a scare in motion that Mitsu could cancel Evo at any moment. They rekindled it with the X but with little to no model updates over the years, it felt like it would be axed at any moment. Anyway, join us in the discussion:

Jun 25th 2010 4:57PM The on-paper version of Evo is much better than the iPhone 4. The actual one they built is a tougher comparison (30 fps limitation, build quality, screen separations, screen grounding issues, 3G speed issues, headphone jack issues).

Jun 14th 2010 4:58PM @matic This is all over the forums. It's not hearsay. I don't have the issue (thankfully) but A LOT of others do. I have the light leakage/screen separation issue but it's not enough for me to take it back over. The chances of getting a worse unit are too high. Reminds me of the Touch Pro launch a couple years ago.
