Mar 24th 2011 8:26AM iControlBits is an amazing app for iOS that gives full control of Transmission when connected to the same WiFi network. Throughly recommended as it allows 80% of Transmission's functionality such as bandwidth settings, removing torrent etc...
Jul 30th 2010 2:48AM iPhone also launches with T-Mobile UK today and over the last 3 months I have been part of the project with TMO UK to make this happen. Now I am a huuuuge Apple product fan but the way they work as a business has took the shine off this. Their arrogance and unreasonable demands saw the project change on a day to day basis. Even the price plans changed 4 days before launch because of Apple.I feel for the guys in NZ because I know what they went through and put the blame squarely on Apple's relationship with carriers.
May 25th 2010 12:17PM Well I have just called a very jolly Apple Sales Rep and he explained that it could be the case that the iPad is already in the UK as all of the iPads are coming from (in his words) "all over the world".I am hesitant to believe him still but he did say "I can confirm you will have your iPad on May 28" I'll only believe him when its in my hands as at the moment I expect to be very disappointed :-(
May 25th 2010 12:01PM Anyone's 16GB 3G iPad been noted as shipped yet. I ordered on May 10th and still claims not shipped and Friday is fast approacing. Just wondering if these notifications are only coming for WiFi only models. I ordered a case too, maybe this impacted it??
Sep 25th 2009 2:31PM Wow does my 2 week old 20" iMac look less pretty today. As long as they only make it thinner and don't add anything drastic I will consider myself lucky.I'm braced for the worst, already called PC world and they won't do a 28 day return because I've turned it on.....Boooo'urns :-(
Sep 13th 2009 4:43AM Do you know where i can find some sailors?
Apr 18th 2009 9:40AM How did no one spot the blatant fact the time will be out by 5 minutes before it made production. A long way short of genius.
Sep 18th 2007 4:24PM I feel let down by Apple who are moving away from being cutting edge to just wanting to be shiny and wow the masses. I'm sure there will be queues on Friday 9th November around the country and the handset will be hailed a success. But without UMTS or HSDPA this phone is unfortunately a white elephant. I'm sure many of my less savvy friends will try to show off with their new iPhone, asking me why I haven't got one yet being Apples biggest advocate. Working also in Tech Support for T-Mobile UK means everyday I work with phones which amaze me, but I'm afraid all I feel is deflated until the already mentioned iPhone2 makes an apperance next year. I know between now and then I will keep looking at those gorgeous demo videos of iPhones showing beautiful pictures, videos and websites and I'll want to change my mind. But I know in reality I will spend most of the time looking at a loading bar as images on websites load so painfully slow. Sorry Steve I won't be hugging my Macbook to sleep tonight.
Sep 18th 2007 4:14PM Have you just crawled out from under a rock? The handset is sold locked up to O2-UK and activated when signing up for a contract through iTunes. If you expect to be able to pop another SIM into this (without the joys of 3rd party apps) you should just jog on.
Sep 14th 2007 6:45PM Please! I work for tech support in T-Mobile UK and it would be great to rub their faces in my brand new unlocked iPhone.
