Oosah offers 1TB of free online media storage (Download Squad)

Sep 17th 2008 11:15PM Looks like Oosah's response is pretty solid on this if it's anything like Youtube or Flickr. I do agree they should make the consolidated stuff more apparent so people signing up for it don't wonder.

Brad, I also seem to find a new scraper stealing your content anytime you link to me. :-) Here's a new one scraping Download Squad unabashedly http://webkeeps.com/wordpress/2008/09/17/oosah-offers-1tb-of-free-online-media-storage/

Oosah offers 1TB of free online media storage (Download Squad)

Sep 17th 2008 4:21PM Hey Brad, thanks for the link love. :-) My humble is site is spelt shankri-la. (word play on the mythical shangri-la if you were wondering wth kind of name is that!)

I kind of wondered about that too with the 1TB claim. But, my account is showing me atleast that for now. We'll have to see how it goes about that. In fact, one of the FAQ's did seem to suggest 2GB free space.

GTalk on Mac and Linux with Prism (sort of) (Download Squad)

Mar 26th 2008 10:49AM Thanks for the mention, Todd!

I came up with this post when I started using GTalk gadget in Prism for the same reason as Keelay! Plus, I test a lot of Firefox extensions during the day and it meant signing into GChat so often. Now, I can have my GTalk just like any IM client!

Chris, I am looking around for a way to open links from Prism in Firefox too! It's gotta be in teh config file somewhere. I'll ping you if I find out.

fabbaz, this has changed in the new version! I in fact run 2 instances of GTalk in Prism.. don't ask why though!

Cheers!

Top 5 greasemonkey scripts to pimp your new Gmail 2.0 (Download Squad)

Jan 9th 2008 1:16PM Dolores,

Thanks for the link love to ShanKri-la! I started out with just a handful of scripts that I use but went on to list 17 scipts. My reasoning: one man's useless script another's treasure! So, I just listed them all!

I got my first trackback from this inmoneynow.com site possibly scraping DownloadSquad feed! (unless some posts get published elsewhere too.. which I highly doubt) Here is the duplicate post! Thanks to Google Alerts, I found your digg link and got here! I didn't receive a trackback from here for some reason.
