Nov 22nd 2008 2:19PM This is clearly malicious advertising. I liken this to a live version of malware. Instead of ware is web. Malwebads sounds like a good name.

Yep, I can see Adblock Plus tackling this right now. The thing is that there are plenty of legitimate fair advertising that loses a lot of money because of companies like this, forcing users to use ABP. If it weren't for the obtrusive advertising, no one would even use ABP.

Apr 3rd 2008 4:04PM I'm not so sure Buckmaster is trying to somewhat come into the 20th century. Instead I'm betting all the bad press has been dropping revenues for the site. It sounds like he's on the defensive and needs to be heard.

Personally, I hate that site. There doesn't appear to be any form of checking ads for legitimacy and I'd rather spend more elsewhere to ensure I'm getting a "real" deal.
