No they're not, they didn't consider Google because they MISSED the bidding deadline. Now they want the rules changed because they were too incompetent to get their products certified on time.

Firefox 4 maxes out SunSpider benchmark (Download Squad)

Oct 30th 2010 11:06PM One of the problems with Firefox, which this test doesn't really measure, is the performance degrades the longer the page has been running. So presumably, everytime you ran the benchmark it will get slower. Other browsers have this problem too but Firefox is particularly bad.

Hyundai to be most American automaker by next year? (Autoblog)

Oct 23rd 2010 1:12AM These are international companies that do engineering globally, they're not beholden to any one country besides maybe corporate. They run engineering and design on 24 hour days. Reports: 3DS more powerful than Wii, doesn't use Nvidia chips (Joystiq)

Jun 7th 2010 2:10PM PS3 and 360 keep getting updated revisions that continually move to
smaller dies to reduce cost and produce new form factors (PS3 slim,
etc). Moore's law isn't going to make them work in a handheld for a
long time though.

The Wii is nearly handheld already, and only consumes 18 watts tops
vs like 200 something watts for PS3/Xbox. So with the DVD drive
removed, a Wii-like handheld may be feasible.
