Newsvibe is several light years ahead in functionality -- but it maybe less pretty.

4. How would you compare the Newsvine experience to DIGG, Delicious, and/or Ma.gnolia.com?

Umm ... Newsvine is NOT a social bookmarking site. It is a social newsreading site. The content is mainstream current events. Primarily it is useful for reading the news (mainstream news not web2.0 or blog land)

Sure it takes longer to add a feed than del.icio.us but again this is NOT a bookmarking site.
