Feb 3rd 2009 8:29PM castle doctrine.....

don't bring foam to a gun fight.

in the US that's criminal.

If that foam ignites....

If that foam blocks the exhaust and causes carbon monoxide poisoning at highway speeds...

it's all fun and games until ....

Chrysler's What's New 2008: uConnect web w/VIDEO (Autoblog)

Jun 27th 2008 2:15PM Yes. They have been out for a while (5 years?). Just interweb search for 'mobile router'. Basically a wi-fi router with a 'laptop card' slot.

Some of the major mobile data providers have capped their 'unlimited' plans (at&t, verizon, Sprint, ~$60 each). Tmobile still has unlimited data for $50.

Who exactly are they leasing this bandwidth from to resell it at $29?

From the video it sounds like there still might be a laptop card at use here with uconnect-web. Someone will probably have taken it out and put it in a router within a few hours of them being sold. IF, IF, IF, that is possible it won't be the fastest connection around but for the budget minded, 'connected' family/business owner it might be the only internet connection you need to pay for.

It will also open the doors for connected mobile innovation.

In-Dash PC overcomes that connectivity issue. Solid state flash drives are here. A new market segment?

GPS /audio/video logging. Business owner? Whats your employee doing at the beach instead of the jobsite?

Car security? Sensor detects door ding level shock. Wide angle camera gets a snapshot/video of the offender and sends you an image of the offender. You know for sure who to um...'talk' to.

This is a step in the right direction.

Bravo Chrysler!

Why is autoblog promoting their socialist agenda?

Good grief. Yet another FAR-left, liberal, union-propaganda machine promoted by autoblog.

Do any autoblog readers who enjoy reading about acronyms such as ZR1, Z06, GTR, give a hoot about some left wing socialists calling themselves the NLC?

May 28th 2008 1:15PM There should be a quiz as to when 'under God' was put in the pledge.

1951.
Anti-Communism. (commies are atheist)
Knights of Columbus (Catholic Fraternity)

How often and how many changes do we really want to keep adding to the pledge.
