Seenly: Photo Booth for everyone (Time-Waster) (Download Squad)

Sep 14th 2007 2:20AM Have you guys seen this one??

waves.tv is a webcam entertainment community, and the only site where you can shoot "real" photobooth pictures in strips of four shots . You can share them using widgets, and rate others photos. You can also save high-res images for prints.

I've had 20 minutes of fun on that site with my webcam. This app has a distinct feel, and a is very rich / impressive User Interface. Their blog says that waves.tv plans to become a "community powered TV network", and will soon launch some "live video game shows" which will use interactive webcam streams.

so it's http://waves.tv

Cameroid - blatant Photobooth rip, but well done (Download Squad)

Jul 2nd 2007 4:36PM Actually, cameroid work just fine, but they won't let you shoot real photobooth pictures in strips of four shots. Just 1 shot isn't all that fun!

There's another new website where you can shoot "real photobooth" photos. I think its very neat: http://waves.tv

I recommmend it to all photobooth enthusiasts ;)

Dec 8th 2006 6:48PM Here's a related story,

It includes great video by Sun microsystems on "how network is changing the entertainment", and a research note which uses Wired's lonelygirl15 article in order to envision the future of video productions & platforms.

A gazillion Web 2.0 sites, and a reality check (Download Squad)

Apr 4th 2006 3:46AM Check this out... A very, very interesting article on all this stuff that you guys are discussing... Indeed that is how I ended up in here, b/c there's a reference to this post in the article:

http://www.neomarketing.tv/archives/bubble_20_part_i_facebook_myspace_desperate_dinosaurs_web_20_buzz_machines_and_gazillion_other_startups.php

The guy is talking about "the dynamics of the "Bubble 2.0". So a lot of discussion revolving around Web 2.0, what is hype, what is real, why the entry barriers to the social media space are very minimal, and how a popular service can quickly lose its “cool”... And all that...

I can't say that I'm very knowledgeable about this stuff, but his discussion was quite intuitive, and definately worth to check out...
