Aug 23rd 2010 1:03PM I don't think the built in flash plugin was a good idea, ever since it was added, my Flash crashes in chrome 3x more often, it got so bad I had to disable the built in plugin so it uses the normal flash plugin.

May 13th 2010 3:59PM i will do the same Poster, I don't use facebook and i hate it, i was begged into making an account which i never use and yet i get random emails all the time because of it, i will deactivate as well, i hate all social networks except for Youtube, which doesn't really count. Twitter is somewhat tollerable, at least they don't demand all your intformation and share it with anyone, and my private account (which again, i rarely use) stays private.
Apr 9th 2010 7:59PM The reason why I left Lineage 2 official for private servers was you can have alot more variety in private servers, because you can have many characters anstead of just one or two (due to time constraints), since the exp rates and adena rates are usually higher. I don't play highrate because I think that ruins the game but, lowrate (below 10x) is alot more relaxed and enjoyable for me. If MMO companies would licence their server software to third parties for some sort of percentage of revenues or donations I think alot more people would play many of those games, because they can go and choose their flavor etc, maybe integrate some sort of inter-server messanging or porting system as well.

Feb 19th 2010 3:47PM I love to see more lady professional gamers, I hope myself to maybe be good enough to be one someday, but I wish there were more playing the more serious twitch action competitive games like Quake Live, most of the lady gamers all play console fps games, and theres just not as much skill in that, no control at all from a controller, and more importantly, in console fps's there is always aiming assist because a pressure sensative joystick can never be anywhere near as accurate and precice as a mouse. And also you have alot less precice movement control due to using, again, a small joystick, with 5 or 6 buttons as your only other means of control, you can't bind every weapon in your arsenal so you have to wait and scroll through them most of the time on consoles, or use some quick directional menu. Lastly those games are all far slower then the speed and pace of a game like Quake Live, and are in their communities and serious players are in their infancy compared to the 10+ years of experience of many of the hardcore Quake Live players.Sorry to rant about all that, I just wish there were more girls playing competitive PC fps's, anstead of those hyped mainstream console junk. The only good halo was the first one, the only console fps that I ever played that required a fair degree of skill were Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, and those are years long passed. On a console you don't have moments in the match where your in the air and have to turn to some awkward angle as you fall down to a lower area, and hit a moving player with a perfectly timed, and predicted, hitscan shot, followed by a mid air rocket as they chase down after you, all of this happening in less then 3 seconds. It just doesn't happen, and to me, a game that doesn't have some sort of moment comparable to that, just doesn't require as much talent and practice to master. Any player, even a medium skilled one who only had a couple of weeks of practice, with a mouse, would mop the floor with anyone who was using a controller in any fps game, and probably most games in general except a fighting or flying game. And unlike the controller player, they would do it without computer assisted aiming. Conversely any console player who learned to use a mouse properly would easily dominate any of their piers in any fps game in which the other players were using controllers. And with practice, they would even beat other players using mice. A mouse aiming scheme requires precice movements, extremely accurate and sensative hardware, and most importantly, practice, training, muscle memory, and much faster reflexes and reaction times.I hope to see some of these other lady pro gamers move up to where the real skill is, to where the serious and real competition is. And I hope someday my months of practice will pay off in some way and I'll reach some higher level.
