Man Changes Name to "Captain Awesome" -- Which Character Name Do You Want? (Moviefone Blog)

Dec 9th 2010 4:31PM For me you just can't beat:

Mac Motorcycles enters the fray with four custom bike concepts (Autoblog)

May 29th 2009 11:50AM Love the bikes, hate the idea of a Buell Blast motor. With all the really good 450 thumpers around surely they could have picked something better. My preference would be for a Pea Shooter with the Ruby exhaust and a XR650L motor (still air cooled).
Now they just need to keep the costs in line.

The editor-in-chief giveaway: Win Ryan Block's video games (Engadget)

Aug 25th 2008 12:52PM Some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I guess that pretty much sums up RyanB

BT and Siemens unveil rugged landline telephones (Engadget)

May 11th 2007 1:18PM Great. I've been trying to buy something like this for my, and other family members, garages and barns. Yes, we still have PSTN lines going to the outbuildings. Now, just dump all the features except for backlit display and callerID and cut the price in half.

All about Curtis (AOL TV)

Jan 17th 2007 5:29PM How would shooting Curtis in the leg have stopped him? Shoot him in the leg and he can still shoot Al-Assad. Shoot Curtis in the leg if you want to stop him from running away. If someone has a gun pointed at you, or someone you care about, the only way to stop them is shoot to kill. In fact, I would fault Jack for not shooting him between the eyes. Even a fatal wound gives Curtis time to shoot.

Vista Media Center's SportsLounge (Engadget HD)

Jan 15th 2007 10:36AM I was able to use this over the weekend. Huge resource hog, performance was awful, but it works. Interface really not meant for use with a mouse. Time to dig out the remote.

Samsung crashes the perpendicular party with bevy of laptop drives (Engadget)

Nov 17th 2006 9:00AM "While the swifter SATA drives will likely benchmark a bit better than the PATA counterparts, both versions sport perpendicular magnetic recording to prevent data corruption,..."

What does perpendicular recording have to do with preventing data corruption? I thought is was just a technique to pack the data tighter.

TiVo raises rates, limits WPA to own WiFi adaptor (Engadget)

Nov 6th 2006 5:28PM Everyday my MCE box just looks better, and better. Already needed the PC and no additional fees for fork out each month. Not to mention the Media Center Extenders made from old X-Boxes.

Asustek R2H UMPC now available (Engadget)

My guess would be GPS ant.

Will Fletch finally be made, starring Zach Braff? (AOL TV)

Jul 27th 2006 12:49PM Ryan Reynolds! As much as I like Zack Braff in Scrubs and Garden State I think Reynolds would be much closer to the Fletch Chevy Chase gave us. Also, Reynolds played Tim Matheson's son in Van Wilder so he has already been seen as a younger Tim Matheson.
