Snatch back wasted disk space from Leopard's jaws (TUAW.com)

Nov 8th 2007 7:56PM DON'T DO THIS!!!

I did it on my Leopard install, told it not to delete any English language files, and it proceeded to delete English language files from most of my apps (including built-in ones like Safari and Quicktime).

Thanks for the suggestion, TUAW. :(

Native Mac OS X version of OpenOffice.org coming in 2008 (Download Squad)

Sep 21st 2007 8:41AM NeoOffice most assuredly does NOT "suck." I use it all day, every day as my personal and business office suite. It does its job and does it well. And it looks nicer than OpenOffice.org to boot. Version 2.2.1 is very slick and integrates with other Mac apps very nicely (such as the spellchecker and address book).

Don't be distracted by the nay-sayers. Native OS X OpenOffice is already here, and it's called NeoOffice. http://www.neooffice.org/

Installer.app beta for iPhone: Install, update iPhone apps over Wi-Fi (TUAW.com)

Aug 12th 2007 12:48PM For those of you claiming that iFuntastic 2.5 can install apps on your phone, have you actually done it or are you assuming that it's possible because it now has a "file browser" feature?

iFuntastic 2.5 CANNOT install applications, as far as I can tell. (And it seems to be the consensus on the iPhone Alley Forums as well: http://www.iphonealley.com/forums/showthread.php?t=601)

If you know otherwise, please post a step-by-step how-to for those of dullards that can't figure it out.

Unless that happens, everyone should stop posting that iFuntastic 2.5 can install apps on the iPhone. It can't.
