More Mac/XP woes (TUAW.com)

Sep 10th 2006 3:38PM This is Beta software, remember? I haven't had many problems with Boot Camp on my MacBook Pro. Since the final version of Boot Camp won't be released until next year, Apple has plenty of time to knock out the kinks.

RocketDock-a Mac Dock clone for Windows (Download Squad)

Aug 20th 2006 2:40PM I agree with several people above. The dock alone is not the greatest multi-tasking solution. However, Expose in Mac OS X more than makes up for the dock's shortcomings in multi-tasking. I feel that a dock imitation on Windows would have to be coupled with an Expose imitation for it to be useful.

So long iCal, hello Google Calendar (TUAW.com)

Apr 18th 2006 11:36AM I have been in the same boat as to switching from Mail/iCal to gMail, gCal. Gmail has been much easier to use and I love gMail Notifier's integration into MacOS (Mailto Links, two clicks to get to a compose window, etc). This switching has prompted me to (for now) ditch Safari for Camino with a Firefox User Agent setting.

A Weekend with an XP iMac (TUAW.com)

Apr 10th 2006 3:50PM I personally cannot suvive without Expose. At work (I work at a webhost/design firm) when I have dozens of shells and windows open, it takes a while for me to figure find the window that I need to switch to. Oh, spotlight/Quicksilver save me a lot of time too.

MacBook Pro availability changes to 3-4 weeks (TUAW.com)

Feb 8th 2006 9:15PM The graphic designer at the company that I work for ordered a MacBook the week that it was announced (he's been waiting to get a Mac for over six months). His estimated ship date is Feb. 15 and he should have it in his hands two days later. One can only imagine how many MacBooks Apple has received orders for already. I think a ship date of 3-4 weeks from now is expected, considering demand.

Apple addresses iPod nano screen complaints (TUAW.com)

Sep 28th 2005 12:20AM My wife bought me a Nano for an early Christmas present and I must say that I have been very impressed. I have some scratches on it but those are due to me putting it in the same pocket as my money clip and the metal rubbing against it. Since then I have not put it in my pocket at all and it has been fine. If you are having problems, let Apple know and see what they can do for you.
