Jaw-dropping and life-changing details about Chinese attacks on Google emerge (Download Squad)

Feb 4th 2010 5:50PM From a technical perspective, the article was fairly useless. Nothing new was discussed. Hackers have been using those techniques since the creation of the computer in the first place. Creating a fancy name for age old techniques doesn't make it anymore sophisticated.

NFL Defends Reversal of Murphy's TD (Fanhouse NFL Blog)

Sep 15th 2009 6:13PM This one is very simple. The receiver already had possession of the ball and per the rulebook, the ball only needs to break the plane of the goal line. Rules are rules, suck it up.

Sep 15th 2009 5:44PM You are correct, the ground can't cause a fumble. BUT you can't have a fumble if you didn't have possession of the ball. In discussion is the NFL rule of possession - apparently most people don't understand how it works. What works in high school and college does not always apply to the NFL rules.

Sep 15th 2009 5:27PM And you commenters call yourselves football fans...

1. If a WR catches the ball at a sideline, drags both toes inbound, and when he hits the ground the ball pops out. Is that a catch?

2. If a WR leaps up, catches a ball in the midfield, lands with 2feet, clearly maintains control for a split second and then has a defender tackle him knocking the ball out. Is that a fumble?

The answer is no in both cases, just like that Oakland catch. The refs made the right call, the ESPN announcers are idiots.

Cane: Open and Shut (AOL TV)

Dec 19th 2007 1:16PM How about Joe Samuels' killer is Joe Samuels. Samuels did say something about getting the last laugh and his life was spiraling downward the last couple of episodes. Commits suicide by setting up his own hit and frames Alex in the process.

Otherwise, it's got to be Ellis. Seduces him to be the shooter and then takes him out at the end. Bronson was found naked in bed shot to death -- foreshadowing a female killer.

Cane: Brotherhood (AOL TV)

Oct 24th 2007 1:10PM Vega promised to bring Santos' family back after the murder in return for his loyalty, but not particularly for the murder itself.

I really hope they put an end to the Quinones murder already because it's dragging on way too long. Can't they find anymore plotlines? I'm probably going to stop watching the show if they devote an entire episode to Quinones again.

I do like the Santos character and I hope he gets elevated to head of security or some other right hand man job later into the show.
