Swag Saturday: Spoils from Capcom's Fight Club (Joystiq)
Oct 25th 2009 4:01AM I'm going to say Dan. Saikyo!
Tatsunoko vs Capcom gets online play, 5 new characters for North America [update] (Joystiq)
Jun 2nd 2009 10:10PM Don't worry it's Hakkushon Daimao that got the boot (well presumably, as he's the only character not shown in the trailer/screenshots)
Marvel Universe MMO keeping masked until 2012 (Joystiq)
Mar 28th 2009 11:00PM Interesting, because the recently announced Marvel+Tatsunoko crossover Anime series is ALSO due in 2012.
10 Greasemonkey scripts you shouldn't browse without (Download Squad)
Feb 23rd 2009 3:25PM Wow! Thanks a bunch for this script! I didn't think something like this existed. It seemed a lot of those "Force HiQuality" Youtube scripts were discontinued by people with them saying "Youtube has High Quality now, so these scripts aren't needed anymore" when it's not true (if a video bitrate isn't high enough, Youtube won't see it as a high quality video). This even beats the snot out of Lifehacker's Better Youtube extension.
Honestly the other Greasemonkey scripts mentioned in this article don't have a use for me.
SNK revisits well, returns with 16-game compilation for PS2, PSP (Joystiq)
Jan 20th 2008 2:26AM Why are you ONLY mentioning the bad games? They made up for those games quite nicely with NeoGeo Battle Coliseum, Samurai Spirits/Shodown Tenka/VI, and KoF XI. Although, I wish they had waited to try making a VS game until NOW. NBC is sadly what Chaos should've been (literally, because it's based off the same "engine"). Great game, but I can't help but think how great it would've been if Capcom characters were in it.
They were better and more original back then though, I'll give you thst much. Considering Last Blade has never been properly ported to any other system, I'm waiting for THAT
Mozilla makes Firefox skinning easy with Personas (Download Squad)
Dec 18th 2007 4:18PM Yeah, I'm liking this a lot. It's like the old hotbar for IE, without the spyware. I currently have "Groovy Blue". I'm hoping they expand the functionality to make it easier to make your own images (especially because they say the don't want copyright infringing themes on their server)
Neo Geo games to hit Virtual Console worldwide (Joystiq)
Apr 18th 2007 3:41AM Uhh, I think you misquoted Mr. Herman about upcoming titles. What Herman actually said was
"so we're looking for games that haven't been available to be more attractive to users when we first launch. If we had a chance to bring out two games for our first month I wouldn't want it to be King of Fighters '94 and Metal Slug 1. That wouldn't be the plan. We have 120 different Neo Geo titles… there's plenty to select from."
He specifically says they're going for the more obscure titles!
Today's hand-drawn video: Super Smash Bros. (Joystiq)
Apr 6th 2007 1:17AM I have to say the whole Anime-fication Furry of Nidorina kinda made me wince at first. But it's a really good bit of animation I have to admit.
And who is Flint?
Patrick Stewart to voice Final Fantasy XII (the ad) (Joystiq)
Feb 15th 2007 2:33PM Patrick Stewart would've been GREAT in FFXII, too bad he's just doing a commercial. Still can't wait for the Youtube Link!
New Final Fantasy spinoff headed for PSP this year? (Joystiq)
Jan 18th 2007 7:46PM I'm with Oshi on that one. Considering it's "unexpected" means very likely that it's not VII, or probably X.
