First look at Boxee Alpha media center for Windows (Download Squad)

Jan 16th 2009 12:23PM It'd be great to have an icon to launch Boxee in Media Center itself. Best of both worlds without putting down the remote then.
I tried to hack something together but couldn't quite get it running. The icon appeared, but nothing happened.
Great app though. The iPlayer integration is pure win.

Jul 19th 2007 10:18AM I think in Reggie's case, he's just a very, very good speaker. I'd say he's up there with Steve Jobs in terms of charisma. OK, he's a long way from achieving the Stevemeister's reality distortion effect, but Reggie is a much better speaker than Moore, Tretton, and the others.

It's the same situation with Jade from Ubisoft - she's become almost as much of an obsession as Assassin's Creed for many gamers.

Feb 21st 2007 5:23PM Did you even read the thread? They've found a solution, and there's a dll available for both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows Vista.

The developer who's laptop was stolen was working on an extender solution, NOT the concurrency problem.

Mar 29th 2006 10:03AM I just picked Manhunt up so I could play through it again, and found that the original xbox games don't like the VGA cable very much. Very poor.

Mar 20th 2006 12:37PM Personally, I think a Mac Mini running Windows Media Center would be very nice, especially as a replacement to the fugly machine I've currently got under my TV. That said, I've yet to see Windows installed on the Mac Mini...
