Mar 16th 2006 3:18PM for all you mac/pc fanboys:
use the right tool for the right job-- i wouldn't use a screwdriver if a saw was needed and vice-versa.
as a computing art major, I use the best application for the job independent of the platform. this means if I need to do video editing I'll use final cut on OSX, but if I need to do some level design for a game, I'll use 3DS Max (now only for PC).
PS. as for the whole virus thing, in a parallel world where OSX had the majority of the market share hackers would write viruses targeting that platform.
