Battlestar Galactica: Lay Down Your Burdens (Part Two) (AOL TV)

Mar 11th 2006 6:08AM So in the beginning of the series we learn that the Cylons have been gone for over 40 years right? But there is still a fully functioning fleet ready, fully manned Battlestars on patrol. Now after 1 year of settling on New Caprica, the 2 remaining Battlestars have a skeleton crew, and most of the familiar crew has settled on the seemingly miserable planet? Huh?

I spent the last 30 minuets totally slackjawed at what was happening on the screen. I can't even imagine what season 3 has in store for us.

Feb 25th 2006 4:08PM This episode has me wondering about Cylon culture. All of the "skin jobs" seem to lounging around on Caprica, while the "bullet heads" are doing all of the work rebuilding it. We also know from Scar that the Raiders are individual Cylons themselves. So are the "skin jobs" the leaders of the race and the "bullet heads" the soldiers and workers of the race. Isn't this why the Cylons originally rebelled against humanity? Or was that in the Animatrix?

Lost: One of Them (AOL TV)

Feb 16th 2006 2:30AM I'm just gonna throw this out there. Since this is a TV blog I assume most of you use BitTorrent to catch the shows you miss. You may or may not know that Lost is the #1 most popular shared TV show on BitTorrent, a Lost torrent can get up to 30,000 peers on Thursday. The icon for Azureus, a popular BitTorrent client, is a blue tree frog, kind of like the one Sawyer squishes in this episode. Am I the only one who thinks, once again, the writers are trying to tell us something?

Lost: The Long Con (AOL TV)

Feb 9th 2006 2:09AM My 2 cents on Kate's mom at the diner: In the episode where we meet Kate's mom they refer to Cedar Rapids, a city in Iowa. In this episode Sawyer tells "Dimples" to go to a motel in Sioux City, another city in Iowa, about 5 hours from Cedar Rapids (and also my home town). Nothing real interesting about this since the above comments pretty much confirm that it is, in fact, Kate's mom. But I think the writers attention to detail, is what makes this show so great. Only someone who has lived in Iowa would have caught these miniscule details, but it makes me wonder what other little things I miss in each episode.

Dec 6th 2005 11:32AM I don't use MySpace, but it seems like every MySpace site I have ever visited plays music that auto-starts when the page loads. I'm glad you want everyone to hear your favorite death metal song, but how about letting me click the play button BEFORE I hear it.

Nov 4th 2005 12:55AM Very cool! I have been looking for something like this. It's strange, I have one post on my blog about Apple switching to Intel from way back in June when Apple made the announcement, and that post gets 5 or 6 spam comments a week, but none of my other posts get any spam. Hope this helps.
