I've got a ~$500 microATX box in my media center that does what diiv does, and a bit more. It's not a monster powerhouse PC, but then, it shouldn't have to be. It doesn't even run Media Center (just plain ol' HomeXP).

It works great for what I need it to do.

For portable computing, i've got a $700 laptop. Yeah, I'd love a tablet form factor, but this works well enough. It's even got svideo out if I feel like plugging it into a monitor. For travelling, i've got a 20 hour media player.

I'm sorry, but I'm just not really seeing the need for yet another dedicated device.
