EA 'figuring out' how to continue Mirror's Edge (Joystiq)

Mar 4th 2011 2:46PM "We need to go from version one to version two so that it sells two to three times as many, it finds a much bigger audience."

As long as this doesn't involve adding more guns, explosions, and generally dumbing down the overall experience, I'm all for it.

In fact, you wouldn't have to change much at all. As long as the sequel retains everything that made the original great, it will sell two to three times as many simply based on greater audience awareness.

Ten awesome ways to find new music online (Download Squad)

No, not thesixtyone. I used to be an avid user for a few years, until the site redesign in January ruined EVERYTHING. It's completely unusable now, and falling apart - bands and members are leaving left, right and centre, and the site founders don't care. They got their cash injection, went ahead with the changes, and ignored the uproar from their fans.

It's a real shame, because I discovered the likes of Band Of Horses, Andrew Bird, William Fitzsimmons and Quebec Antique there. But now I'm looking for alternatives. I will never go back.

Square Enix thanks pirates for playing FFCC (Joystiq Nintendo)

Mar 11th 2008 5:14PM Since we've established that this is not an anti-piracy measure, perhaps the story can be taken down, or at least amended.

Snatcher Pilot Disk ported, fantastic (Joystiq Nintendo)

Mar 8th 2008 12:27PM Snatcher is one of my all-time favourite games, and I would love to see it ported to DS.

This release is a step in the right direction - it's not perfect, there's a LOT of stuff missing, i.e. the menu structure, animations etc, and the images are very blocky compared to the original, but being able to play a version of Snatcher on my DS just about makes up for that.

Now come on Konami, this proves that it works. Get it done properly!

Limited edition blood-covered DS Lite (Joystiq Nintendo)

Jul 20th 2007 10:29PM I'm normally pretty open-minded, but this story is tasteless. It's not funny to show a blood-spattered DS from an actual accident, even if no-one was hurt and you joke about it being a "limited edition".
