True Lemon taste test (Slashfood)

Mar 23rd 2006 4:07AM It is easy to use. It has a good, strong, tart lemon flavor. It tastes just like lemon. It is completely natural and kosher. The packets are convenient. It’s good in water, Diet Pepsi, on fish, on anything that is too sweet, like Diet Snapple...

GM plant celebrates half-mil FlexFuel vehicles produced (Autoblog)

Mar 23rd 2006 3:08AM I always liked the e85 idea, it is just too bad that I so far never had a chance to get it here in Florida, but I am still hoping. You should consider to replace all the gas caps with the new yellow one to make people aware of the flexibility.

Firefox 2.0 alpha released (TUAW.com)

Mar 20th 2006 5:56AM 2.0 will hardly do anything for memory releated issuses since it will be based on old code of Gecko. This means that the shell(Firefox itself) will not go through significant rewriting or changes. If anything memory leaks will be reduced or flushed in version 3.0 which will be based on a completely rewritten Gecko engine.
Unfortunately that may be too late...memory problems will drive many users back to IE(7) (which will be official long before Firefox 3).

Google Buys @Last, Developer of SketchUp (TUAW.com)

Mar 15th 2006 12:26PM I downloaded a copy of SketchUp a couple of months back and it's a really cool piece of software. I haven't done as much experimenting as I'd like but hopefully I will soon.

Google Desktop out of beta! (Download Squad)

Mar 15th 2006 12:03PM Google Desktop Search has made finding files on my computer much, much easier. It is head and shoulders above any standard XP search tool (though I haven't compared it to other third-party tools). It is always on, sitting in the background, where it constantly indexes your files, but despite this the program has yet to crash or cause an error. Do be warned, however: the indexing files will eat up considerable hard-drive space. (On my hard drive the ~61k indexed files make for a 500+MB indexing file.)

Austin Going Wireless (The Wireless Report)

Mar 15th 2006 11:55AM I've had problems connecting with an Airport-enabled Mac. PC users there will be having no problems, while I am able to get a 4-bar connection, but can't browse the Net. Staff are of course unable to assist with troubleshooting. So...mileage may vary for Apple users. Considering Airport "just works" pretty much everywhere else in town, you may want to come here for the excellent pastas and coffee, then get your WiFi on elsewhere if it's not working.
