iPad fever: What didja get? (TUAW.com)
Mar 12th 2010 11:24AM I didn't get nothin. I had to pay $50 and pick up the garbage! (plus a free fake pickle to anyone who get's the reference).
StoneLoops! pulled from App Store (TUAW.com)
Oct 23rd 2009 4:14PM I've been waiting for something like this to happen. Basically, Apple's interjected itself here as the defacto arbiter of an intellectual property case. So what legal recourse does Codeminion have? Can they sue MumboJumbo when it's Apples action? Can they sue Apple? Apple's just going to point to MumboJumbo. Any closet lawyers in the house that want to explain?
Canon's PowerShot lineup hands-on: the best of the rest (Engadget)
Aug 19th 2009 2:52PM The reduction in megapixels is a huge improvement, but even bigger could be the switch back to a fast lense. Isn't that an F:2.0 I see in the pictures. They dropped the fast lense after the G6 and the camera flexibility has sucked ever since. I've owned a G1, G9 and G10. Apart from shutter lag, The G1 was by far the best camera.

Dec 3rd 2008 11:06AM Engadget MUST do a full review on this!
JBL On Air WEM-1 module makes any speaker wireless, for a price (Engadget)
Sep 4th 2008 4:25PM Somebody help me out here. You still have to power the speaker (or the wireless receiver), right. So it's only wireless in the sense that you don't have to run speaker wires correct?
Pogue and Macworld chime in on MobileMe (TUAW.com)
Jul 24th 2008 7:20PM Doesn't matter if it's reliable, it doesn't have even a minimal feature set. Can't print calendar's from the webpage. Can't import calendars without having Outlook or iCal to translate (I have neither 'cause I use google calendar). Can't use my default e-mail address (don't need another in-box, thanks). Runs like a cow on explorer (I realize that's likely explorer's fault, but my employer doesn't care). It's kind of like the appleTV. I really want to love this product, but I just can't, reliability issues aside.
Apps for Apple TV: sign me up (TUAW.com)
Jul 24th 2008 7:10PM Safari and DVR capability first! Only then applications.
iPhone dev program acceptance rate: 16% (TUAW.com)
Jun 13th 2008 12:09PM It's still too early to get bent out of shape. On roll out, Apple must have a sufficiently large number of applications to quell critics and reduce the incentive to jailbreak, but the applications also must be limited enough and of high enough quality to prevent everyone from being overwhelmed (yes, there can be too many applications to choose from). So it makes sense that they're being very choosy. At the same time, I'm really suprised Erica got one of the dear john letters given what she's already brought to the table (unless she's been blacklisted for being part of the jailbreak community, which would be unfortunate, but not suprising).
iPhone SDK contains a 3G iPhone icon? (Engadget)
May 28th 2008 6:40PM Much ado about nothing (other than an image processing error on the right).
Why I don't use the phone in iPhone (TUAW.com)
May 1st 2008 2:41PM I love my iPhone, but as an entire package, not necessarily for each function independently. No question, the speaker is inadequate. Not only can I not hear it, even in a quiet conference room, but the any newly released songs distort wildly when played over the external speaker, which I do a lot for my kids at bedtime.
On the plus side, it's the first phone I've used where I actually understand (whithout having to rtfm) how to set up a conference call. The bluetooth actually links correctly (as opposed to my old Motorla) with the phone, and the integration between Google maps and the contact list is amazing.
Definately room for improvement, but a far cry from the worst phone I've used.
