I'm outside the US so I never could listen to Pandora but.... isn't this how traditional radio stations have had to operate? paying out license fees and royalties? granted the numbers stated above for the royalties seem fairly ridiculous, but I suppose that negotiating them down would be the first reasonable step rather than "we shouldn't pay, we're the internet... waaahhhh."

Went with Mozy and never looked back.
