Tecmo Koei CEO to Sony: "please cut the price" of the PS3 (Engadget)

Jul 4th 2009 1:37PM I think i understand sony's dilema if they reduce the price due to the gaming companies complaining then the gaming companies may try and pull this one in the future (ie have ruling in regards to pricing over sony's game consoles), i think sony don't want this to happen so and aren't prepared to bow to the gaming companies wishes, however with that said the console is expensive as a potential buyer so its hard decision to make and games make a console (im pretty sure the gaming companies know this), I personally have a WII but thats down to the games, i love mario kart and although the PS3 has some other better games.

From past experience we all know sony will come out with a slimmer version, i think sony should lower the price as like i said games make a console.

Taiwan 'orders' Dell to honor $15 monitor mishap (updated) (Engadget)

Jul 2nd 2009 8:40AM Dell need to honour their price mistake and if i where any person who ordered a monitor then i would expect it, if i got an email saying sorry i would say thats your problem not mine since it is their problem, a simple amount of text which says its ok to make mistakes in regards to prices, i support the Taiwanese government in this one as its about morals and ethics and dell can't brush it off as a mistake, they need to watch what they are doing, and need to learn from their mistakes.

MacUpdate Promo Spring Bundle revealed (TUAW.com)

May 29th 2009 12:15PM The apps seem a bit useless all but one, it reminds me of those old days when you used to get loads of utilities on a cd/dvd and only a few where decent, their website also has a spelling error not once but twice for the same word.

What they can't spell signup :P amateurish if u ask me. So the question I ask myself is would I buy from a site which can't spell signup right and their logo looks like a office logo from macoffice, I know some countries language differs a bit such as english to american etc but i have never seen anyone get signup wrong before.

Big Brother! ActyMac DutyWatch spies on your employees (TUAW.com)

Apr 9th 2009 4:01PM This stuff is usually worked into the contract like we have the right to check blah blah.

I personally think it is invading your personal privacy (thats why we have personal privacy act) but at the same time you are getting paid to work not to talk to your friends on the net or browse the net (thats why you have breaks) i think by law you have to have a break every hr or two use those to check your email, talk with friends etc, companies won't like it but its tuff for them. I work for myself so get to call my own hours and no one cares as long as the job gets done.
